These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Zülküf Demirhan ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of iKey. By accessing or using the iKey iOS application and keyboard extension (collectively, the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using iKey on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization.
iKey is an iOS keyboard extension that provides real-time AI-powered translation directly within iOS apps. The Service includes:
The Service requires an internet connection to perform translations. Translation accuracy may vary by language pair and content.
You must be at least 13 years old to use iKey. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
The Service is available on iOS devices only and requires a compatible version of iOS as specified on the App Store product page.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these prohibitions without notice.
iKey offers optional auto-renewing subscription plans (Weekly, Monthly, Yearly) that unlock unlimited translations and additional features. Subscriptions are offered through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms.
Certain plans (e.g., Weekly) may include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will convert to a paid subscription and you will be charged.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → iKey. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit Apple's Report a Problem page.
The free version of iKey provides up to 2 translations per day, resetting at midnight UTC. This limit is enforced to allow fair use of the service and to sustainably maintain the translation infrastructure.
iKey and all its contents — including but not limited to the app design, code, logos, icons, text, and graphics — are owned by or licensed to Zülküf Demirhan and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the text you submit for translation. By submitting text, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process it solely for the purpose of returning a translation to you. This license is immediately revoked once the translation is returned.
"iKey" and associated logos are trademarks of Zülküf Demirhan. You may not use these trademarks without prior written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

You use the Service entirely at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ZÜLKÜF DEMİRHAN BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:
IN JURISDICTIONS WHERE EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY ARE NOT PERMITTED, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $10 USD if no payment was made.
iKey uses AI-powered translation technology. While we strive for high accuracy, machine translation has inherent limitations and may produce errors, especially for:
You should not rely on iKey translations for situations where accuracy is critical, including but not limited to medical, legal, financial, safety, or emergency communications. Always have important content reviewed by a qualified human translator.
The Service integrates with or depends on third-party services, including:
We are not responsible for the practices, content, privacy policies, or availability of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app from your device. If you have an active subscription, cancelling it through the App Store will prevent future charges.
Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends. All locally stored data (history, settings) on your device will remain until you delete the app.
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may notify you via in-app notification or App Store update notes.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of Turkey, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
